| Man, it's been such a long time since I've updated. All thanks to my laziness. Hehe...Anyway, my winter break is alright. Been going out with my friends a lot. Last night would probably be the last time I hang out with Audra for a long time.
Yesterday was fun. I was supposed to get a ride from Nicole, but then her dad's car broke down. So my mom had to drop us off and meet up with Audra, Veronique, and Matt at Cedar Lanes around two or so and played a couple of games. I'm happy, because I did better than I usually do. Usually I'd get gutter balls ^^; Shows how good I am with bowling, eh? Hehe. Kristina and Deric didn't come until later, during the second game, but they decided not to bowl. Kris and I finally did our gift exchange (b/c we didn't do it during Christmas time haha). Thanks Kris for the gift card! Hope you like the shirt I got you!
After bowling, we went to the United Artists theater. Kristina had to leave to get some stuff before she starts school again while the rest of us were crammed into Audra's mom's van. Nicole and I sat in the back and there wasn't enough room for us. So Nicole sat on my legs (b/c I had them on the seat. I actually thought that I would have the whole back to myself.) and it was painful to have her sit on my legs. But then Matt wasn't helping us either. He'd like push the seat back and crush Nicole and me. I was relieved when we finally got out of the van because my legs were so sore from that ride. lol.
We all decided to watch Narnia. It was good, but I wanted the battle to be longer and Nicole wanted it to be more gory. <_<; Well anyway, after watching that movie, it gave me inspiration to finish writing my story. Right now, I'm just going through revisions and adding more things to it. My original plan is altered a little bit, but then it could possibly lead to a sequal. Yes, you all heard me. There may be a sequal! ^_^ So after the movie, all of us walked to Starbuck's across the street and Nicole and I were talking more about my story and what I can add to it. And we even talked about the possible sequal after this one. ^_^ Thanks Nicole! I'll make sure you'll get credit for helping me out.
After Starbuck's, we walked back to van. Deric decided to walk back to his place because he wanted to walk. That's cool I guess...more room for us in the van now hehe. Anyway, Veronique, Audra's deaf friend was kinda confusing us on what she wanted to do. She wrote to her, and she was talking to us about a mall when she said she wanted to go home to the mall or something? If only I remember the stuff I learned in sign language. @_@ So Audra parked in a parking lot by State and we were there for 15 mins, trying to figure out where Veronique wanted to go and she decided that she wanted to go to an arcade. So we went to Nickel Arcade.
It was alright in Nickel Arcade. They had In the Groove there, but we didn't get a chance to play it much, because these two guys were hogging the machine. >_< So we only played twice that night. We wanted to play at least one more round before the arcade closed, but then...the employers kicked everyone out b/c it was closing time. -_- Once we were all in the van, we were once again trying to figure out where Veronique lives and she wrote, "mall". We were trying to have her tell us what street she lived on, but she just kept writing "mall". So we were stuck in the parking lot again...for another 15 mins. Well, I really don't blame her since she's deaf and doesn't understand a lot, but yeah....We finally left the arcade and dropped her off at Manchester mall and we followed her in the van as she was walking home. I mean, would you leave your deaf friend in front of a closed Manchester mall in the middle of the night on Blackstone street? I wouldn't. So...we followed her until she reached her apartment.
Finally, I got home and fell asleep. And that's the end of my long entry. ^^; |
